GTF Rwanda 2026: Important Update

A statement from the GTF 2026 Organising Committee

The Organising Committee of the Global Trade Fair Rwanda (GTF Rwanda 2026) wishes to inform all
stakeholders, exhibitors, investors, strategic partners, government agencies, sponsors, delegates, media
organisations and the general public that the Global Trade Fair Rwanda 2026, originally scheduled to hold 12–18 October 2026, has been postponed until a later date.

This decision follows extensive consultations and careful consideration of the evolving public health situation arising from the Ebola outbreak in parts of the region, which has led to heightened international travel concerns and widespread apprehension among

exhibitors, vendors and business delegations planning to participate in the event. While Rwanda has continued to implement robust public health preparedness measures and remains vigilant, the Organising Committee believes that postponing the event is the most responsible course of action to safeguard the confidence, wellbeing and participation of all stakeholders.

The Global Trade Fair Rwanda 2026 is a landmark seven-day international trade and investment summit themed: “Africa Unboxed: Redefining Trade, Investment and Global Partnerships.”
The event is designed to bring together global leaders, investors, manufacturers, SMEs, government institutions, development organisations and entrepreneurs from across the world to promote trade, investment, innovation and cross-border partnerships throughout Africa.

The Organising Committee is actively engaging with relevant Government authorities, public health
institutions and strategic partners to monitor developments and determine an appropriate new date for the
event. The revised schedule will be communicated through our official channels once consultations have been
concluded.

We wish to reassure all registered participants that:

All registrations remain valid and will automatically be transferred to the new event dates.
The registration portal remains open for new exhibitors, delegates, investors and participants.
● All confirmed partnership agreements, sponsorship commitments and exhibition reservations will
remain in force pending the announcement of the new schedule.

In the meantime, our Country Directors across participating nations will coordinate a series of Global Trade Fair Business Mixers and Networking Events within their respective countries. These engagements are
intended to sustain momentum, strengthen business relationships, facilitate strategic collaborations and
continue preparations towards a successful Global Trade Fair Rwanda 2026.

We sincerely appreciate the understanding and continued confidence of our stakeholders during this period.
The Organising Committee remains fully committed to delivering an exceptional international platform that
advances sustainable trade, investment and economic cooperation across Africa and the global marketplace.

We thank our partners, exhibitors, delegates and supporters for their unwavering commitment and look forward to welcoming the global business community to Rwanda on the newly announced dates.
